Occasionally Xfinity mail will suddenly stop downloading to the Apple mail app when something has corrupted my account. When that has happened, previous advice has told me to delete current Comcast account and reenter my Comcast info with a NEW password.
I cannot remember where to do this delete and reenter process. Also, I think I had to do the same delete/reenter process on all my Apple devices. Can someone please help guide me through this process? It has happened often enough, I’d like to have written instructions to refer to in the future.
On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
Tap the email account that you want to remove.
Tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.
