At one point, I too was flooded with spam calls/texts and now have it down to a trickle. I registered our phone numbers on the "DO NOT CALL LISTS" and that didn't do much. I called Xfinity but they call block only so many calls (very limited) - so next to useless. Xfinity recommended that I use a free app (now yearly fee approx $25) to "NOMOROBO" which works great. Now Iphone allows you to "delete and report junk" to calls/texts that come in. So I use a combo of NOMOROBO and Iphone feature and that seems to cut the spam/fraud calls to occasionally. Most importantly is DO NOT ANSWER OR RESPOND TO ANY CALL/TEXT THAT YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER. Let it roll to voice mail instead.
